A native of Russia, Professor Tamara Johns earned a Master of Science in Applied Mathematics from Moscow Aviation Institute. After moving to South Florida in 2003, she took a break and returned to teaching in 2014. She began as an adjunct mathematics instructor at Palm Beach State College’s Gardens campus. Since 2018, Professor Johns has been inspiring students as a full-time instructor at the Lake Worth Campus.
In her free time, Professor Johns delights in spending time with her family, reading poetry in Russian, Spanish, and English, listening to music, and enjoying theatre productions.

Lauren Zatto began her higher education path as a Palm Beach State College student. She then transferred to FAU, earned her Bachelor's degree in Math, and then earned her Master of Science degree in Teaching Math. Her career at PBSC began in the SLC as a math tutor. Lauren teaches math full-time online at Palm Beach State College's beautiful Palm Beach Gardens campus. She hopes to pass on her passion for problem-solving to you!
Outside of the classroom, Lauren enjoys learning about everything and anything: DIY auto and home projects, running, hiking, surfing, traveling, fossil hunting, baking, cooking, volunteering, and hearing other’s life stories!

Anurag is a Professor of Mathematics at the Boca Raton campus of Palm Beach State College. He plans to create an interactive approach to learning foundational Algebra concepts during his sabbatical leave in the 2024 - 2025 academic year. In his classroom, he promotes Inquiry-Based Learning, an active learning pedagogy, while teaching courses ranging from Developmental Algebra to Calculus and Discrete Math.
He is a self-proclaimed coffee snob aficionado who enjoys learning new technology tools, photography, and playing with his darling niece, Zara.
